個人簽證心得體會

在這裏潛水很久，順利簽過，就來寄託分享一下個人的簽證心得，以供後來GTER參考：

簽證時間5,31號12點45 地點北京 由於工作上的事情，簽證的準備時間實在是有限，直到30號我才把DS表格填寫完畢。而中信簽證費和簽證照片是31號當天弄的。當所有材料準備完已經是31號上午11點了，但心態還是很好的。

下面簡要介紹一下我的體會：

1,關於着裝：沒有必要穿特別正式的衣服，只要讓人感覺大方、舒服就可以了。如果你感覺一套新衣服能更增強你的信心的話買一身也可以。我是現買一身職業裝，可臨近使館感覺領帶實在是不舒服乾脆把領帶撤了下來，存到了外面。

2,關於準備：本人碩士畢業，在學校研究助理一年多。需要準備的問題應該比較多。我感覺準備材料的過程是一個重新審視你自己的過程。包括你過去的背景、現在的情況、和未來的打算。圍繞的問題無非就三個：此去USA的目的是什麼；背景和將來的打算；有沒有足夠的SUPPORT；

下面是我的CHECKlist： BAG1： 1,DS forms 2，offer letter 3, 護照 4, I－20 5， fee receipt BAG2： 1, my study and career plan 2, resume 3, an introduction to my current work 4, transcripts 5, GRE and TOEFL scores BAG3: 1, Emails with professors in my target department 2, Emails of admissions and offers from other universities 3, webpages of financial and program policy of my target department 4, webpages of my planned group 5, webpages of my current research center BAG4 1, MY graduate thesis 2, my publications 3, undergraduate and graduate degree and diploma(不用翻譯，VO完全能看懂） 4,certificate of honors and titles(如果你honor and title很多的話沒有必要把所有的證明都帶去，沒有必要翻譯） 5, my identity card 6, my business card 個人的`體會：這些材料當中RESUME和PUBLICATION是最重要的。我的resume用的是申請時的，但作了一定的調整，長度由原來的滿兩頁縮短為一頁半。另外對你的RESUME一定要了如指掌，對VO可能就你的RESUME提出的問題有所準備，作到知己知彼。另外，如果你有PUBLICATIONS 的話一定要帶上，copies就可以。另外，當所有材料準備完畢一後，一定要從新檢查一下，看有沒有遺漏或不同材料之間有沒有衝突的地方。

3,關於可以帶進去的東西 如果你材料比較多，完全可以帶一個手提袋。同時，沒有必要一定要用BAG，我當時就後悔沒有買一個公文夾，攜帶方便，材料一樣可以清楚的歸類。

4，關於面談 我的感覺是北京現在所有的VO都比較nice。所以大家完全沒有必要擔心能不能遇到一個好的VO。本人4號窗，傳説中的帥哥。前面一個MASTER半獎被CHECK，多少有點nervous，但馬上就恢復了平靜。

M：How do you do sir, seem so many people? Vo: yeah, I am ok M: this is my card Vo: so, what will you do in the USA? M: I will pursue an advanced Ph.D study and research at the university of Houston, as you know it has a very good group in sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology in the Geo department of the university. VO: are you currently a research associate? M: yeah, currently I am a research associate at the B & R research center of the university of Petroleum. And mainly doing research on sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology in sedimentary basins. We have just finished a project in the East China Sea shelf basin, my main work in the project is….. and now we have shift our interest in the deepwater systems on the north margin of the south china see. …… VO: do you have a resume? M: yeah, I really have brought my resume here, would you like to have a review? VO: 看我的resume， 我觀察他的眼神主要看了我在本科和研究生階段的honors 和titles，尤其是後面的publications。 VO：Would you like to go to window 1 and get your visa? M: thank you sir, have a nice day.

從這個過程可以看出，和VO的對話沒有多少，但我在準備過程中還是把所有可能想到的問題都準備了，這樣你就會有百倍的信心。 北京形勢現在很好，未來的籤友完全沒有必要有太多顧慮。31號F1較多，但基本沒有什麼問題，尤其是全獎的。半獎的可能有的會被CHECK，但check時間都是一週，估計一週之後就可以那到VISA。 30晚下了一夜的雨，正如籤友所説“連老天都放水，我何懼哉？”。我相信運氣，但更相信自己實力，只要充分準備大家都能成功。 祝福所有寄託的朋友！
