新編高中英語教材圖文並茂,幾乎每一篇閲讀課文均配有一幅與該材料密切聯繫的插圖。基於對教師指導 作用的認識以及對新教材的理解,我多次嘗試運用文中插圖進行導語設計並付諸實踐,收到了良好的教學效果 。
利用文中插圖,通過問答、討論的形式和言簡意賅、提綱挈領的導語,逐步引入本課的話題,讓學生適度 瞭解話題的內容,易激起學生內在的學習動力,使課堂氣氛十分活躍。合理利用插圖,能創設更多的交際情景 ,能鍛鍊學生的`觀察力和培養他們的思維能力。利用文中插圖導入新課,能激活學生永久記憶中相關的知識網 絡,使他們產生閲讀的願望和心理準備,併為下一步默讀、朗讀,分角色對話,帶着問題快讀和訓練閲讀技巧 鋪平道路。以下為高一新教材插圖導入語設計節選。
Lesson 6
T: Look at the picture, please。 What can you see in the picture?
Ss: A blackboard, a teacher,a teacher's desk, teacher's notes, four cups。。。
T: Anything else?
S: A stick in a cup。

S: No。 My family travelled by plane three years ago。

Ss: Yes, yellow—Asia, black—Africa, red—America, blue—Europe, green—Australia (Oceania) 。

Ss: A singer is singing with the guitar。
