為了豐富廣大同學的課餘生活，加強英語的學習與交流，提高同學們學習英語的積極性； 給廣大同學提供一個自我鍛鍊、展示自我的舞台，我院社團聯合會英語協會決定舉辦:“水院之星”英語演講比賽，我們協會在得到老師和同學的支持下，於本月舉行了英語演講比賽，此次比賽主要針對全院的大一的學生。大一學生參加的積極性很高，報名人數也很多，在我院大一學生新生中有一定的影響力，比賽設有預賽和決賽，本次比賽採取“公平，公正，公開”的`比賽原則，此次活動是南湖校區與湯遜湖校區首次聯誼比賽。

在比賽的前期，兩個校區都在各自在本校做了許多關於對本次活動的宣傳活動，鼓勵各系各班的同學積極參加，預賽是兩校區在各自的本部舉辦，南湖校區報名參賽40名。湯遜湖校區報名參賽60幾名，預賽於10月31號舉行，，經過一輪又一輪的角逐，在評委的公正評判下，南湖校區總共有11名參賽選手進入決賽，湯遜湖校區有19名進入決賽。決賽於11月8號下午2：00在南湖校區二樓報告廳拉開的帷幕，

決賽榮幸地邀請了英語組組長鬍志紅老師、許俊老師、廖兆慧老師、王婷老師、餘慧敏老師，胡雅文老師作為本次演講比賽決賽的評委,，決賽時所有參賽者都表現出超常的發揮，比賽也進行的異常的激烈，在評委老師的嚴格評判下，最後共有十名同學獲獎，一等獎一名邢壘；二等獎二名代雪梅、田偉；三等獎三名陳筱婷、樑帥、秦毛玲；優秀獎四名鄧燕玲、張志晨、聶德龍、楊衝。此次活動旨在提高全院同學英語口語，使同學積累更多的演講的經驗。

此次活動雖然整體看起來是成功的，但是也有存在許多不足的地方，首先作為本次活動的策劃人及負責人，我有許多問題沒考慮到，例如；決賽的比賽形式難度過大及比賽時給參賽者準備的時間不足，導致許多參賽者上台比賽產生慌場的現象和導致許多參賽者沒法完全發揮出來，給比賽帶來許多的不便，還有就是決賽前的準備工作做得很傖促，導致比賽延遲了十分鐘的。但是在全體協會的成員共同努力下比賽還是順利進行了，此次活動有不足也有完美之處，通過本次比賽使我們學會了很多，也明白了許多。希望下一次能把第八屆搞得更好。

But father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.

When i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.

I learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.

Like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’， ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it

Years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad,cause you are the hero in my mind.

These people are reclusive and had their emotions hidden within them. I once went to Australia and I saw two pictures, Once was drawn by a normal child, the other was drawn by a child with social inhibitions. The picture drawn by the normal child was simple and plain. The other was life'like, full of details and imagination. What this shows is that these are ideas, emotions and feelings that are locked internally in these children.

My ideal is to be the key, spreading the beauty of the spoken words to these children. These children have been neglected, but I feel that I can and should help these children to find themselves and be able to express themselves.

英語輸出能力是英語教育工作者和英語學習者共同關注的一個問題。然而輸出能力的培養並不容易，尤其是有些地方的英語基礎教育還是以啞巴英語為主，這極大地阻礙了輸出能力的培養。對於進入英語專業的學生來説，提高他們的英語輸出能力迫在眉睫。英語即興演講因其快速分析、反應和表述能力等諸方面的要求，使其成為提高輸出能力的一個有力武器。

一、英語即興演講

即興演講，是在事先並沒有做任何準備的情況下，自發或被要求立即進行的當眾演講，是一種不憑藉文稿來表情達意的口語交際活動。英語即興演講的成功與否主要取決於以下幾個方面：

1、演講者知識儲備及心理素質

演講者平時要注意廣泛閲讀，擴大知識面，同時，加強心理素質的準備，加強思想道德、情感信心等各方面的修養。英語即興演講對英語能力的要求是比較高的，要求具備較大的詞彙量、較強的英語語音和口語能力。

2、快速思維技巧

即興演講者必須具有較強的快速思維能力，這實際上就是一個快速創作、打腹稿的過程，具體説來，要經過觀察、抓話題、確定觀點、通篇構思（形成框架）、確定關鍵詞、組織語言、表達等一系列的思維過程。

即興演講的框架可以按照如下模式來展開：時間模式（以歷史—現實—未來為線索展開）；以小見大模式（從具體事件入手，最後得出結論）；以大見小模式（從事件的大背景和 大道理入手，揭露事物的實質）；比較模式（對兩事物進行對比論述）；總分模式（將事物分成不同方面加以論述）。

3、英語語言方面的要求

在英語的運用方面，要求用詞準確、語法正確、語言組織有序、語音語調正確合理、節奏與停頓到位、語言流暢、交際能力強。交際能力強是指在遇到不會的生詞時，可以繞過它用不同的方式表達出來。

二、英語即興演講訓練對英語輸出能力的作用

krashen（1981）指出，可理解輸入是語言習得的關鍵，它強調語言輸入（i）的意義必須為習得者所理解，同時輸入的語言形式或功能應超出現有水平（i+1）。swain（1985）在輸入假設的基礎上提出了“輸出假設”，該假設認為，除了必要的可理解輸入外，學習者必須有機會使用所學的語言，這樣才有可能達到流利、類似母語者的水平。此外，教師的推動（push）可以促使學生進一步分析目的語的語法、結構以及用法，因而能產生超越目前語言能力（i）的效果，即“i+1”的輸出，也就是可理解輸出。英語即興演講訓練就是一個説寫結合的可理解輸出過程。

英語即興演講訓練是在老師的組織引導下進行的。筆者將這個訓練放在英語專業精讀課的前5分鐘。首先由老師給出即興演講的題目，然後給學生2-3分鐘的準備時間，這期間要求學生仔細審題、確定觀點，之後進行框架構思，可以用關鍵詞記錄整個演講的提綱，但不可以用完整的句子。時間一到馬上停止，老師隨機點名上台演講。

英語即興演講訓練實質上是兩種輸出能力，即説和寫的結合。我們直接看到的是學生的口語表達，但在口語表達的背後，隱匿着作文構思的全過程。學生在兩三分鐘的時間裏進行了快速構思訓練，這是一個思維非常高效的運轉過程，課後學生要馬上把提綱擴充成一篇作文，進行筆頭輸出訓練。畢竟即興演講的限時性決定了説出來的內容還不那麼精細，結構也不太嚴密，語言也不可能十分準確，所以在經過書面作文之後，學生把要説的話變成文稿，對腹稿進行加工潤色，寫出來的.演講稿會比之前的腹稿提升很多。這種先説後寫的即興演講訓練方式鍛鍊了學生的快速構思能力、快速語言組織能力，英語交際能力。同時，這種即興演講的超短時準備和訓練為學生提供了一個英語強化輸出的環境和場所，同學們還可以從別人那裏學到自己所欠缺的思想、語言、自信等等；另外，每個人演講過後，老師都會對該生的各方面表現進行評價，對語言輸出中的問題會着重點評，對寫出來的演講稿老師也會精心批改點評。老師的有力推動更加促進了學生i+1的語言輸出能力。

三、結語

英語即興演講訓練作為一種口筆頭並重的語言輸出方式，為學生提供了很好的輸出平台，在老師的推動下更加促進了學生的語言輸出質量。

I myself, a rather shy person by nature who easily suffer from stage fright, had to pluck up great courage to take part in a speech contest like this. I could have stayed away and had an easy time of it by not entering the university level I chose to accept the challenge and to face the difficulties. Now here I am. If I come out first, it will be a great success for me. If I come out last-I hope this will not be the case-but if I come out last, I will not call my attempt a failure, but will also celebrate it as a true success, because part of my goal is my own character training-to do more assertive, to be brave in face of difficulties. 1. 演講前的準備

1 善用空間的演講

所謂空間就是指進行演説的場所範圍、演講者所在之處以及與聽眾間的距離等等。演説者所在之處以位居聽眾注意力容易彙集的地方最為理想。例如開會的時候、主席多半位居會議桌的上方、因為該處正是最容易彙集出席者注意力的地方。

反之，如果主席位居會議桌之正中央，則會議的進行情況會變如何呢?恐怕會使出席者注意力散漫了，且有會議宂長不休的感覺?因此，讓自己位居聽眾注意力容易彙集之處，不但能夠提升聽眾對於演講的關注，甚至具有增強演説者信賴度權威感的效果。

2 演講應注意的幾個問題

2.1 演講時的姿勢

演説時的姿勢(posture)也會帶給聽眾某種印象，例如堂堂正正的印象或者畏畏縮縮的印象。雖然個人的性格與平日的習慣對此影響頗巨，不過一般而言仍有方便演講的姿勢，即所謂“輕鬆的姿勢”。要讓身體放鬆，反過來説就是不要過度緊張。過度的緊張不但會表現出笨拙僵硬的姿勢，而且對於舌頭的動作也會造成不良的影響。

訣竅之一是張開雙腳與肩同寬，挺穩整個身軀。另一個訣竅是想辦法擴散並減輕施加在身體上的緊張情緒。例如將一隻手稍微插入口袋中，或者手觸桌邊、或者手握麥克風等等。

2.2 演講時的視線

在大眾面前説話，亦即表示必須忍受眾目睽睽的注視。當然，並非每位聽眾都會對你報以善意的眼光。儘管如此，你還是不可以漠視聽眾的眼光，避開聽眾的視線來説話。尤其當你走到麥克風旁邊站立在大眾面前的那一瞬間，來自聽眾的視線有時甚至會讓你覺得刺痛。

克服這股視線壓力的祕訣，就是一面進行演講;一面從聽眾當中找尋對於自己投以善意而温柔眼光的人。並且無視於那些冷淡的眼光。此外，把自己的視線投向強烈“點頭”以示首肯的人，對鞏固信心來進行演説也具有效果。

2.3演講時的臉部表情

演講時的臉部表情無論好壞都會帶給聽眾極其深刻的印象。緊張、疲勞、喜悦、焦慮、等情緒無不清楚地表露在臉上，這是很難藉由本人的意志來加以控制的。演講的內容即使再精彩，如果表情總覺缺乏自信，老是畏畏縮縮，演講就很容易變得欠缺説服力。

控制臉部的方法，首先“不可垂頭”。人一旦“垂頭”就會予人“喪氣”之感，而且若視線不能與聽眾接觸，就難以吸引聽眾的注意。另一個方法是“緩慢説話”。説話速度一旦緩慢，情緒即可穩定，臉部表情也得以放鬆,再者，全身上下也能夠為之泰然自若起來。

2.4 有關服飾和髮型

服裝也會帶給觀眾各種印象。尤其是東方男性總是喜歡穿着灰色或者藍色系列的服裝，難免給人過於刻板無趣印象。輕鬆的場合不妨穿着稍微花俏一點的服裝來參加。不過如果是正式的場合，一般來説仍以深色西服、男士無尾晚宴服、以及燕尾服為宜。其次，髮型也可塑造出各種形象來。長髮和光頭各自藴含其強烈的形象，而鬢角的長短也被認為是個人喜好的表徵。站出來演講之際，你的服裝、究竟帶給對方何種印象?希望各位好好地思量一番。

2.5 聲音和腔調

聲音和腔調乃是與生俱來的，不可能一朝一夕之間有所改善。不過音質與措詞對於整個演説影響頗巨，這倒是事實。根據某項研究報告指出聲音低沉的男性比聲音高亢的男性，其信賴度較高。因為聲音低沉會讓人有種威嚴沉着的感覺。儘管如此，各位還是不可能馬上就改變自己的聲音。總之，重要的`是讓自己的聲音清楚地傳達給聽眾。即使是音質不好的人，如果能夠稟持自己的主張與信念的話，依舊可以吸引聽眾的熱切關注。

認識jerry是在兩年前，當時是去報導一場叫做“讓英語不再是我們永遠的痛”的演講會，主講人就是英語奇才jerrydai。説起來也許你不相信，原本是工作原因，想着拍個新聞照片就走人，而jerry在台上充滿活力、激情四射的演講在開場的10分鐘就引起我極大的共鳴和興趣。結果我不僅聽完了整個演講，在回家的路上竟然還滿腦子想着一定要把自己的英語按照jerry的辦法提高提高。

能將一場如何學好純正英語的演講變得如此生動精彩，想必這個80年代生的小夥子背後一定有很多自己的.故事。當天在後台我就跟jerry説要作他的專訪。可是慚愧啊慚愧，這採訪一拖就是一年。今個暖冬的第一場大雪後，我們終於約定了採訪時間，有機會認識了一個舞台下和教室外的jerry。

坐在對面的jerry雖然身着正裝，帶了副斯文的眼鏡，卻絲毫掩飾不了爍爍發光的眼神裏透出的一種“新鮮氣質”。怎麼説呢，那是一種靈氣。採訪當然是用中文進行的（如果用英文估計我聽懂的也就80%）。jerry的國語、英語、甚至連他自己一説都笑得不行的東北土話都説得相當“正宗”。這真是一個語言天才！我想。

我不是一個語言天才

“我其實不是一個語言天才。”jerry坐下來説的第一句話就把我的想法給否決了。

jerry來加拿大才六年多，年少成長的一大段日子都在中國，接受的是典型的中國式敎育。所學的英語大部分只是死記硬背的單詞和應試技巧。到了這個陌生的國度，他自己講的英語別人聽不懂，而別人的話他也是一知半解，他感覺好像突然與外界有了隔閡。

儘管在出國前有着雄心壯志，jerry卻因為不能與人溝通，渾身縱有使不完的力氣也無濟於事。於是，他下定決心苦攻英語。“語言根本不是靠天賦的！”jerry又説，“學英語的過程其實是一個自我挑戰的艱辛歷程。”

當初他並不知從何入手。為了練英語，他想方設法去找當地人聊天，試來試去結果是碰一鼻子灰。他總是先在腦子裏用中文想好要説的話，再找到相應的英文單詞，然後用所學的語法去套出要講的英文句子。如此下來，説出去的句子結結巴巴，常常他還沒説完，對方早把話搶了過去，語速飛快地又丟過來一大堆話。這樣的話他當然聽不明白，而“pardon”多了也不是辦法，結果對方早已失去了交談的興趣，而他自己也信心盡失。

但他不是輕易放棄的人。jerry想，不如試試退回來“閉門造車”練英語。自從有了這種“頓悟”，他開始把自己當作一個牙牙學語的孩子，完全用耳朵去感受純正的發音，去捕捉一個個單詞的開音合音、脣音齒音，去熟悉一個個句子的抑揚頓挫。

jerry説，在開始的大半年裏，他發痴似地尋找英語中每一個準確的發音部位，然後一遍遍地模仿。有時為了一個單詞的準確發音，要練上一千多遍。他説，這真是個很痛苦的過程。

這期間，他做了很多旁人認為是“crazy”的事情，比如：刻意只看英文電視報紙，不交中國朋友，把電腦裝成英文系統，甚至把自己關在房間裏大聲跟電視主持人練發音等。jerry説，這樣做了一段時間的確有了成效，而不只有他可以做到這些事情，任何人都可以，但是有個前提條件，就是：“onlyifyoureallywantto!”
