就在這幾天，為了給上國中打基礎，我在背26個字母。媽媽看着26個字母，也輕輕地讀起來。我就問道：“媽，你也會讀呀？”媽媽看着字母説：“我不會，你可以教我呀！”媽媽的話把我震住了。“媽媽，你學這幹嘛？”媽媽很洋氣地説：“我不想被社會淘汰，我要開始學英語！”媽媽好像是抱着決心的'。她朝表哥説：“阿憲，從今天起，你來教我英語，如果你肯教我，我今天就煮好東西慰勞你。”
