堅強的意志Strong Will

Since I go to high school, I live in the school and stay away from my parents. I have three roommates, at the beginning, we have trouble in staying in the same room, but now we have got used to it. One of my roommates impresses me so much, since she comes to our room, she keeps the habit of reading the novel when we go to bed. She told me that when she lived with her parents, she dared not to read it because her mother would blame her for sleeping late. Now she is very happy that she is out of control, it seems that she is free. But I feel sorry for her, because she is short-sighted now, what’s more, she is lagging behind other students in the study. Staying away from her parents, she is not strong enough to behave herself. We should have the strong will and behave ourselves.

自從我上了高中，我就住在學校，遠離父母。我有3個室友，剛開始，我們不習慣同處一室，但是如今，我們已經習慣了。有一個室友讓我印象很深刻，自從她住進我們的房間，她就在我們睡覺的時候保持看小説的習慣。她告訴我們在她和父母住在一起的時候，她不敢看小説，因為她媽媽會責怪她那麼晚睡覺。如今她很高興再也不受控制了，似乎她得到了自由。但是我為她感到遺憾，因為她現在已經近視，而且，在學習方面也落後於其他同學。離開了父母，她不夠強大，無法自律。我們應該有堅強的意志，並且自律。

健康飲食Healthy Diet

What is healthy diet? To the most people, healthy diet means more green foods, no junk foods. The green food is those pollution-free, high quality and nutrient food, including the organic vegetables and meats, fruits, eggs and so on. The meals of healthy diet should be cooked with fewer salt and oil. And the junk food is those low nutrition, high calorie, processed food with much salt or oil, such as the fries, fried chickens, salted eggs and so on. These foods will cause one get weight and increase the risk of many diseases. We should keep a healthy diet, abandon the junk food to keep ourselves healthy.

什麼是健康飲食?對於大多數人來説，健康飲食就意味着多吃綠色食品，不要吃垃圾食品。綠色食品就是那些無污染、高品質和營養的食物，包括有機蔬菜和肉類、水果、雞蛋等等。健康飲食的.膳食應該用更少的鹽和油製作。而垃圾食品是指那些低營養、高熱量、再加工的高鹽重油食品，例如薯條、炸雞和鹹蛋等等。這些食品會導致一個人發胖，並增加疾病的風險。為了保持健康，我們應該保持健康飲食，拋棄垃圾食品。

中國禮物Chinese Gifts

There are many good Chinese gifts to give foreigners. The first one is Chinese knot. The Chinese knot is a symbol of peace and fortune. This artifact is beautiful and meaningful. And the china is also a good choice. The china was invented in China about 4000 years ago, its English name was named after our country, and the ones which made in China is much more exquisite than the other origins. And other Chinese gifts such as silks and painting and calligraphy. They are all Chinese characteristic, and are the works of art, so the foreign friends would like them very much.

有很多很好的中國禮物可以送給外國人。第一件就是中國結。中國結是和平與財富的象徵。這個手工藝品不但漂亮，而且很有意義。另外瓷器也是一個很好的選擇。瓷器是4000多年前在中國發明的，它的英文名就是以我們國家命名的，而且在中國出產的瓷器比其他地方的都要精美許多。還有其他的中國禮物例如絲綢以及書畫。它們都極具中國特色，是藝術品，所以外國朋友會非常喜歡的。
